A TCA peel (Trichloroacetic Acid) is a reticular dermal (medium depth) skin peel. It is a very popular and powerful skin resurfacing treatment that we use at Body Recon Cosmetic Clinic in Geelong. This Winter Special package combines a medium depth TCA Chemical Peel with a Mela Peel which targets pigmentation. This combination is more intensive for deeper results than a light or superficial peel,  but does not have the downtime associated with a deeper peel. You should only experience 5 days of mild flaking after this treatment.

TCA peels can vary in concentration. Determining the depth of peel that is most suitable for you will depend on your skin tone, depth of skin damage, severity of photodamage and the result you are seeking.

We have formulated our own peels which combine a high concentration TCA, glycolic acid and phenol. These have a mild anaesthetic affect which allows deeper resurfacing with less discomfort. Our TCA peels create the ultimate resurfacing and rejuvenating chemical peel.
