Dr. Richard Rahdon
Dr. Rahdon is a consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (FRACS). He is a member of both the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr Rahdon graduated from Melbourne University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery degree. He was then admitted to the Royal Australian College of Surgeons after 17 years of training.
He did a Bachelor of Medical Science at the Nuffield Department of Surgery at the University of Oxford. Dr Rahdon then undertook further fellowship training in plastic and reconstructive surgery in Oxford, UK. Dr Rahdon has also trained in London and has worked as a medical officer in the RAAF.
Since opening Body Recon in 2009, Richard has continued to attend specialist meetings and is a highly skilled surgeon specializing in all aspects of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He prides himself on Body Recon offering the safest and most advanced surgical and non-surgical treatments available with the highest level of customer service and care.
Dr. Fraser Gilmour
Dr. Fraser Gilmour is a consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (FRACS). Dr Gilmour is based at Body Recon Clinic Epworth and specializes in skin lesions, hand surgery, trauma and skin cancer.
He operates at Epworth Hospital, Geelong and Barwon Health and is a member of both the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr Gilmour completed medical degree at The London Hospital, University of London and also did his basic surgical training in the U.K. He completed five years of plastic surgery training in Victoria in 2016, and was a Registrar at Barwon Health. He is also part of the Epworth Hospital’s on call and trauma rotation- caring for patients in the Geelong and surrounding regions.
Dr Gilmour loves the diversity that his role at Body Recon brings from trauma based surgery to lesion removal and working alongside our other doctors to service Geelong with a full range of skin cancer detection and treatment options.
Ms Marion Chan
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon
Marion is a fully qualified Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon working in Melbourne and Geelong. Marion was awarded Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at Monash university in 2007 and began her surgical career by completing 2 years of intensive accredited General Surgery training in breast surgery, upper gastrointestinal and colorectal surgery. Upon entering formal training with the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (RACS) in 2013 and subsequently completed fellowship examinations and was admitted as a Fellow of the College. Marion has had training from many major Plastic Surgery units in Victoria including Alfred Health, St Vincent’s Hospital, Austin Health and the prestigious Victorian Plastic Surgery Unit.
Marion has a keen interest in reconstructive and cosmetic breast surgery, and also treats routine skin cancer, general hands, body contouring and trauma reconstructive surgery. Marion is heavily involved in aesthetic breast reconstructions within Eastern Health Breast Service in Victoria and routinely help care for acute and long-term breast cancer patients across the health network.
Dr. Novreen Rasool
Associate Fellow in Skin Cancer Medicine
MBBS, FRACGP, Associate Fellow in Skin Cancer Medicine, Advanced Diploma in Dermoscopy, Diploma Dermatology.
Novreen moved to Australia in 2007 with her husband and since then has worked in Hospital Surgical and General Practice fields. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of General Practice and Associate Fellow in Skin Cancer Medicine.
Dr Rasool has a keen interest in early detection and prevention of both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer. She has done substantial numbers of procedures to the nose, cheeks, eyelids, ears, lips, digits and legs, and is an expert in both surgical and medical management of skin cancer.
Dr Rasool performs whole body skin checks and has used latest digital dermoscopy and mole mapping equipment.
Dr Bianca Forrester
Bianca Forrester is a General Practitioner specialising in the areas of Dermatology, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Adolescent Health. Led by a passion for disease prevention, population health and wellbeing, she has undertaken extensive upskilling in these areas of interest.
Bianca takes great satisfaction in mapping, identifying and treating skin pathology or providing tracking support using Sequential Digital Imaging technology at Skin Cancer PLUS. She is a clinical educator at both Deakin University and University of Melbourne medical schools, and when not working she can be found chasing “Shuggie” at the ‘dog beach’, cooking with the kids, mountain biking with her husband Mike or playing in her band
Adele Bartram Goodall
Adele is the Clinic Manager of Body Recon Cosmetic Clinic. Adele has a Diploma of Business Management and enjoys ensuring clients and patients of BR are given the highest level of care with the best treatments available.
Adele is also one of our senior therapists and has a passion for skin therapies and specialises in dermatological laser therapies and skin rejuvenation procedures. She has spent the last 10 years working closely with medical professionals to formulate treatments for different dermatological conditions including vascular and pigmented lesions and conditions, scarring and benign skin lesions.
She is a Laser and Health Academy educator and presents at international congress regularly, specifically the LAHA symposium, APACS conference, DASIL and the Australian Fotona Conference. She has had articles and case studies published in the European Aesthetics Guide and the Laser and Health Academy Journal. She is considered an industry leader in advancements in medical laser therapies.
She enjoys developing new protocols and procedures utilising our medical laser systems to ensure our patients at Body Recon have the most effective and safest treatments available.
SURGICAL PRACTICE MANAGER
Di is our Surgical Practice Manager and Personal Assistant to Dr Rahdon. Di has many years experience in the field of plastic surgery and has been with Dr Rahdon since he commenced his practice, Body Recon Plastic Surgery, in Geelong in 2009.
Prior to this Di has worked with other surgeons at St John of God Hospital and in healthcare management and reception duties for over 35 years.
She has excellent management skills and is always considered to be thorough, caring and compassionate. She is one of the first people you will encounter at Body Recon and is happy to answer all your questions, make appointments and make your experience as stress free as possible.
Amy is the Clinic Manager of Body Recon Clinic Epworth and one of our Senior Dermal Therapists. She specializes in skin rejuvenation treatments such as chemical peels, ablative and non-ablative skin rejuvenation, laser tattoo removal, pigmented and vascular conditions.
Amy has a Bachelor of Health Science Degree in Dermal Therapies from Victoria University and has over 10 years experience in the industry. Amy is an industry leader in laser therapies and has been involved in developing protocols with Fotona laser devices, which are used worldwide.
She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Body Recon and is highly driven and passionate about delivering the best results possible for her patients.
Angie is the Practice Manager and Personal Assistant to Dr Fraser Gilmour who is based at our Body Recon Clinic Epworth. Angie has over 20 years experience in surgical private practice, most of this in Plastic & Reconstructive and Orthopaedic surgery. She has worked alongside Dr Gilmour since he joined us at Body Recon. Angie is also the Practice Manager of our Skin Cancer PLUS Clinic. Angie enjoys the pace and diversity of the two clinics and is proud of the service that can be offered at Body Recon from GP skin checks and diagnosis through to surgical intervention and hospital admission with our Plastic Surgeons.
Angie also supports our Dermal Therapists and Cosmetic Nurses who are based at our Epworth clinic and oversees our nurses and administration team at Skin Cancer PLUS. She is an exceptional team leader, leading by example and prides herself in excellent customer service, ensuring all patients and clients that come into Body Recon Epworth and Skin Cancer PLUS are given a friendly and informative point of contact.
Katrina is one of our highly skilled Cosmetic Nurses. She is an expert in injectable treatments such as anti-wrinkle injectables and Swedish dermal filler. Katrina has worked as a registered nurse (RN) for the past 10 years, starting on the Plastics ward at Cabrini Melbourne before venturing into theatre nursing for the past eight years. Katrina is passionate about surgical nursing and has combined this interest to expand into the areas of injectable and cosmetic nursing.
Katrina believes in assessing the entire face in a holistic manner, taking the time to explain the issues of muscle hyperactivity, volume loss and aesthetic beauty. She is highly renowned in the industry for her advanced techniques and approach to aesthetic enhancement and restoration. Katrina’s approach to injectables is honest and results driven. Katrina believes in creating natural looking results that are maintainable. Katrina also assists Dr Rahdon with pre and post-operative care for our surgical patients.
Megan is one of our highly skilled Cosmetic Nurses. She performs anti-wrinkle injectables and Swedish dermal filler treatments.
Megan has had many years of nursing experience as a Registered Nurse and has been based on the Bellarine Peninsular for the past 18 years in General Practice and Community Health.
Megan has always had a strong interest in beauty and aesthetics, which enabled her to excel in injectable treatments and cosmetic nursing. Her aesthetic style is to enhance her client’s beauty by creating natural results that highlight and contour which improves the overall appearance for each client. Megan has a keen eye for symmetry and aims to bring both balance and harmony to the face.
Megan’s role at Body Recon is very diverse; she works across all of our four sites. As well as her work with cosmetic injecting she is also heavily involved within the surgical components of BR.
She assists our plastic surgeons with minor procedures in the rooms and with consulting and is also our on call nurse for patients following cosmetic surgery. Megan is also the Practice Nurse at Body Recon Clinic Epworth and Skin Cancer PLUS, assisting in minor procedures, post operative after care and wound management.
Danielle is a one of our Registered Nurses. She has worked in many different areas of nursing and has a certificate in Critical Care Emergency nursing and has always had an interest in the aesthetic industry and cosmetic nursing.
Dani performs our injectable treatments including anti-wrinkle injectables and Swedish dermal filler and believes that the knowledge of facial muscles and skeletal anatomy is vital to achieving the best results. She likes to ensure that clients receive a detailed, individualized consultation that formulates an achievable treatment plan. Her aim is to enhance the natural underlying features and soften areas of concern while maintaining natural expression.
Dani always remains upskilled with regular training with industry leaders in cosmetic injectables and enhancement.
Jess is one of our Dermal Therapists and has a BHS Degree in Dermal Science. She specializes in skin rejuvenation treatments such as medical grade chemical peels, ablative and non-ablative skin rejuvenation, laser tattoo removal, medical laser hair removal and vascular conditions. Her passion is to help educate patients about skin health and achieve their desired results, specifically treating skin problems with a focus on helping patients with acne and rosacea.
Jess has completed her Bachelor of Health Science in Dermal Therapies at Victoria University. She brings extensive knowledge and passion to Body Recon and is highly driven about delivering the best results possible for her patients. Jess is located at both Body Recon Cosmetic Clinic and Body Recon Clinic Epworth.
Lauren is one of our Dermal Therapists; she completed a Bachelor of Health Science, specializing in Dermal Therapies at Victoria University in 2013. Lauren has over 15 years experience within the aesthetics industry and over this time has worked to perfect these skills.
Lauren has a keen interest in the treatment of dermatological conditions such as acne and rosacea using the light-based therapies, cosmeceutical grade skincare products and medical expertise exclusive to Body Recon clinics. Lauren is skilled in all laser modalities ranging from skin rejuvenation, laser hair reduction and tattoo removal. Lauren works at both Body Recon Cosmetic Clinic and Body Recon Clinic Epworth.
Lauren’s ethos when treating is about delivering exceptional results while maintaining a calming and quiet experience for her clients, a process they can truly enjoy and feel comfortable in her ability driven by experience and knowledge.
Miranda is one of our Dermal Therapists at Body Recon. She has a high level of experience in skin rejuvenation treatments ranging from medical grade chemical peels to advanced laser treatments. The laser treatments she performs include tattoo removal, both ablative and non- ablative skin rejuvenation, vascular and pigment conditions as well as permanent hair reduction.
She has a BHS in Dermal Therapies, which she completed at Victoria University in 2018. Her passion and motivation comes from her clients, as she loves helping them with their skin concerns. She is driven by results so she works closely with her clients to set realistic and achievable goals prior to and during their treatments. She loves helping her clients feel more comfortable and happy in their skin.
Miranda also has experience as a day spa therapist, allowing her to bring a caring and nurturing aspect to her treatments and making every client feel relaxed, comfortable and at home.
Rosie is one of our senior therapists at Body Recon who specializes in laser hair removal and specialized skin treatments such as medifacials, advanced chemical peels, CIT therapy and rejuvenation procedures.
Having extensive experience at some of the most prestigious beauty and allied health businesses across Victoria for over 20 years, Rosie brings a strong focus on premium results driven by client care. She has maintained her high level of expertise by undergoing regular upskilling and training with the most knowledgeable and experienced educators.
Kate is one of our Beauty Therapists. She specializes in Brow Sculpting using a stencil technique. She has a keen eye for detail and is a perfectionist, which is why she is our resident brow queen.
Kate has been in the industry for 16 years and has a dedicated and loyal following of clients. She has advanced her skills since starting at Body Recon and now also specializes in advanced chemical peels and skin care prescriptions
Kath is our HR and Accounts Manager. She is one of the many people behind the scenes that makes Body Recon run like a well-oiled machine. Organizing different projects for staff and generally keeping everyone on task.
Having trained and worked as a physiotherapist in various hospitals including Barwon Health, her kind nature has seen Kath move into our HR Manager role, which involves supporting, motivating and assisting our staff.
She’s involved in all accounts and business management.
Karen is a medical receptionist and provides a range of administrative and patient care functions across our three clinics, supporting the medical, nursing and reception teams.
Karen is a customer service specialist, bringing more than 25 years’ health sector experience to the team, including 15 years’ experience as Reception Team Leader and three as Practice Accounts Manager. Karen loves being part of the team and seeing the positive impact Body Recon has on people’s lives.
MICRO PIGMENTATION SPECIALIST
Claire is our Micro Pigmentation Specialist who performs our Cosmetic Tattooing at Body Recon. She is an exceptionally skilled and highly sought after Micro Pigmentation Practitioner. She has worked at Medical Practices and Paramedical Clinic’s over Victoria and is very experienced in all forms of cosmetic tattooing.
Her procedures bring balance and harmony using Cosmetic and Paramedical Tattooing. Replacing colour, and definition in areas of hair loss, natural pigment damage, scarring and cosmetic enhancements.
Areas that Claire commonly treats with Micro Pigmentation are lips, eyebrows, eye liner, nipples and scars. She favours a modern treatment using a variety of application methods, which uses natural enhancement of clients features.
