Dr. Shelley Walder
Dr. Shelley Walder has 18 years experience in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer. She is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College of Australia, where she also tutors other GPs on how to diagnose skin cancer.
She teaches at skin cancer workshops around Australia, hosted by the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners. We are honoured to have Dr. Shelley's expertise in our team.
Dr. Shelley runs our Skin Check Clinic every Thursday, and is available to all Body Recon clients who would like to book their routine Full Body Skin Checks with her.
Full Service, In-House
The benefits to booking your routine Skin Check with our resident GP is that you’ll have direct access to our in-house services for any further testing or surgical biopsies required. Without needing to be referred to an external clinic or hospital for these services.
As Body Recon Cosmetic Clinic is medically supervised by Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon Dr. Richard Rahdon, our Skin Cancer Clinic team is licensed and skilled to perform selected Skin Cancer treatments and lesion removals. Of course, there are always exceptions, and some patients may need to be referred externally for specialists treatments.
What Type Of Appointment Do You Need?
For your routine annual skin check, book a “Full Body Skin Check”. If you have a specific area of concern, or up to 3 specific lesions that you want checked, book a “Specific Area Skin Check”. Both types of consultations will be with GP Dr. Shelley Walder.
If you’ve been advised to have a Skin Check before embarking on a course of laser skin rejuvenation or laser therapy, book a Specific Area Skin Check.
