Pigment Lesions Geelong
Skin and pigment lesions are remarkably common and the overwhelming majority of them are benign. However, where such lesions occur on the face they can be unpleasant and cause distress to many people. Among the most common of such lesions are seborrheic keratoses (age spots), actinic keratoses (pre-cancerous sun spots), solar keratoses, solar lentigines, birthmarks, melasma, post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation, ephelides (freckles) and naevi (moles). Because of the range of treatment parameters we have available to us between our two laser systems we can effectively remove the majority of pigment lesions. Some lesions may need to be checked by a doctor before treatment to ensure that they are benign and that the treatment is safe for you.
Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
